“A city is the integral place built by differential lives” - Tesoc Hah
As a part of the Korean Pavilion of the Venice Biennale, “Integral City Differential Life” is the first of its kind to release a generative virtual city that is based off the collective information of the participants. The participants who use this app will be able to create their own custom housing unit through the user’s lifestyle input, as well as contribute to the collective virtual city (Integral City) on the smart phone.
The survey is meant to store data based on the participant’s profile and lifestyle preferences. This application will be used to create the Integral City and display its transformation in real time at the exhibition site. The creation of the city will be different for each site depending on the profile and lifestyles of the participants.
The concept was created by the architect, Tesoc Hah, who is currently a partner at iArc Architects in Seoul, Korea.
