This is an inofficial extension for the google maps app.If you ever missed the ability to display waypoints from an external geofile, you probaply attended this plugin. Right now, the most common formats (kml, gpx and ovl) are supported. Whenever you'll open such a format, you will be able to see these waypoints within the google maps app. From there, you can navigate to this location, share the geopoint and all the other cool stuff, the google guys implemented.
Note that this plugin does not need any permissions! It's just using the functionality of the google maps application by delegating your "VIEW-WAYPOINT-REQUEST". It does not support complex geotypes, like tracks, as the google maps application does not provide a programming interface for that yet!
Also note that you won't find a launchable application after installation. The plugin will get invoked, whenever you open a geofile - typically from within a file explorer!
